Omschrijving

As a Process Engineer (1FTE) at Oliver in Venray, you work where it really happens: on the shop floor, close to the machines and the people who run them. You’re not behind a desk all day, you’re in the process, improving how things work in real time.

We produce medical and pharmaceutical packaging used worldwide. That means quality and safety are critical. Your work directly impacts product reliability and helps ensure patient safety.

At the same time, how we work matters just as much: practical, open, and as a team.

What you’ll be working on

Improving processes on the shop floor

You help make our production processes smarter, more stable, and easier to work with.

  • Support the introduction and improvement of machines, tools, and production processes
  • Help industrialize new or modified products and support validation activities
  • Use data (e.g. performance, downtime, quality) to identify and drive improvements
  • Translate customer and product requirements into clear, workable production processes
  • Work closely with colleagues from Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain

Solving real production problems

When something doesn’t work as expected, you step in to understand why and make sure it doesn’t happen again.

  • Analyze process issues and support root cause investigations
  • Help implement improvements that are practical and sustainable
  • Support quality actions and improvement initiatives together with Quality and Production

Safe, clear, and well-documented work

You help ensure our processes are safe, compliant, and easy to understand.

  • Work according to procedures and quality standards (e.g. GMP / ISO / MDR)
  • Keep process documentation accurate and up to date
  • Integrate safety and ergonomics into daily operations
  • Help colleagues understand and apply process changes

Why you’ll like working at Oliver Venray

  • Work directly on the production floor and see the impact of your improvements immediately
  • Be part of a down-to-earth, collaborative team were engineering and production work closely together
  • Plenty of room to learn, grow, and improve at your own pace
  • A modern manufacturing environment with advanced equipment and cleanroom facilities
  • Freedom and trust to take ownership and contribute ideas
  • An international company with a strong local culture in Venray

And in addition:

  • 27 vacation days
  • Bike and fitness plan
  • Fresh fruit and healthcare reimbursements
  • Regular team moments where we celebrate progress and success

We believe great work starts with happy people. That’s reflected in the stories of your future colleagues and in everything we do to make Oliver a great place to work.

What you bring

  • A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, similar Engineering or relevant practical experience
  • Interest in production processes and technology (experience is a plus, not a must)
  • A hands-on mindset: you enjoy being close to the process and the people
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn in a regulated environment
  • Clear communication skills in English
  • Flexibility to support production when needed

Your impact

What you improve today is used tomorrow in medical applications worldwide. Your work directly contributes to product quality, reliability, and ultimately patient safety.

Ready to make an impact?

Would you like to improve processes that protect patients worldwide, together with a team that values practical solutions and collaboration?
